My Artist Statement
Heather Mitcham is a Virginia Beach native who plays many roles in life- she is an artist, a mother, a student, a dog mom, and a beach bum- but her (favorite/longest) role is that of an artist. Printmaking is her true love, however she dabbles in all things artistic. Propelled forward by curiosity and experimentation, Heather is constantly creating. Her work is marked by bright colors and odes to nature.
